Raw Materials Trading
The ALBA Group is a global leader in paper, plastic, and wood recycling, and is able to offer recycling solutions to customers in numerous locations in Europe. We assist in reducing costs and creating new value out of substances perceived as waste. This is achieved by reintroducing secondary raw materials to the manufacturing process. Because we concentrate on Europe and can market across our diverse network of customers from the paper industry, plastics recycling, and the wood processing industry, we are able to cut down on shipping distances and optimise logistical costs.
Steel and Metal Recycling
ALBA Group ranks among Germany’s top three scrap metal dealers and suppliers. Our sources for scrap steel and metal are dealers and household waste management companies, as well as companies where such materials are accumulated, from small manufacturers to large scale industrial firms. We are the link between the points of collection and dealers, and the iron and steel industry, where the recycled material is processed. We connect the supplier and the purchaser – not only in Germany, but throughout Europe. We take over the job of preparing goods suitable for use in industrial processing wherever a high standard of quality is required.
