Dr Axel Schweitzer, Chairman

Dr Axel Schweitzer, born 1969, has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of ALBA SE (former INTERSEROH SE) since August 2008 and is responsible for the finances of the group, as well as for the Services and Raw Materials Trading segments. Dr Schweitzer worked in Italy while completing his doctorate in industrial engineering before he became a member of the Board of Directors of ALBA AG (ALBA Group plc & Co. KG, as of January 2011). In 2005 he became Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Interseroh and has been holding the same position at ALBA Berlin Basketball GmbH since 2006.

Rob Nansink

Rob Nansink, born 1962, is Member of the Board of Directors, responsible for the Trading department, since January 2013. One major task will be intensifying the international focus of ALBA SE. Furthermore, he will be responsible for extending the non-ferrous metals business.
Before joining ALBA SE in 2007, he founded the Dutch company Europe Metals B.V. in 1990, and successfully developed the company, with subsidiaries in the Netherlands and Hong Kong, to one of the biggest exporters of non-ferrous metals in Europe. Today, Europe Metals is a 100% subsidiary of ALBA SE.

Joachim Wagner

Joachim Wagner, born 1967, is responsible as director at Interseroh for Steel and Metals Recycling. Before joining the Interseroh Group, he developed his parents' company Wagner Rohstoffe GmbH from a one-man business to a leading player on the market in the Rhine-Main area. Wagner was appointed to the Board of Directors of ALBA SE (former INTERSEROH SE) in August 2010 and, since October 2011, is also Member of the Board of Directors of ALBA Group plc & Co. KG.
